New wheel ‘FS Series’ with ball bearings for high temperatures and heavy loads
The ‘FS Series’, specific for high temperatures applications, gets a great new addition designed to guarantee the lowest rolling resistance alongside the capacity to withstand heavier loads. It is offered in 100mm diameter – standard size for bakery trolleys used in rotary ovens.
The wheel in thermoplastic compound 28038CC is designed to host two 6202 ball bearings and have a thicker middle section for a greater load capacity.
The thermoplastic compound used guarantees a better mechanical resistance, even at high temperatures, compared to the more ‘classic’ (old!) resin wheels. The thicker construction and the technical qualities of the material, add up to make the wheel long lasting and resistant.
The 28038CC is assembled in various combinations with fixed and swivel brackets zinc-plated (M22) or stainless steel (X20). In both cases the swivel brackets used in the assembly with this wheel are engineered for high temperatures, having special lubrication and heat resistant dust cover ring.
With the bracket of 50mm width, the load capacity reaches 200-250kg per castor (depending on whether it is zinc-plated or stainless steel).
Assemblies with stainless steel brackets (X20), are fitted with thread guards (also stainless steel) as standard. These acts as additional protection to the axel, composed of inner spacer, ball bearing and T-bush; shielding it from debris and dirt.
