    IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON DELIVERIES

    Delivery Terms

    We deliver goods either according to DAP Incoterms 2020 or FCA Incoterms 2020. In either cases we take care of exporting duty costs. Any import duty, cost and clearance fees must be taken care by you.

    Please inform us if you have a trusted Customs Broker, providing us with contact name and details so that we may send them the relevant information and documents.

    Import Customs & Duties 

    Most of our products are eligible for Preferential Origin and these will not be subject to duty. For this reason we shall issue a “Long Term Declaration of Preferential Origin” for all goods supplied unless otherwise stated on invoice.

    We are also obliged to state your EORI ID and contact details on our invoices: they will be used by the Forwarders to contact you for import customs clearance.
    As mentioned previously, in case you have a Custom Agent, please provide us the Company name, contact email and telephone details so that we may add it to your file and have our Forwarder cooperate with them.

    Please provide this information ASAP so that orders can be processed swiftly.

    Packaging & fumigation

    Our deliveries comply to the new requirements for packaging specifications relating to wood cases & pallets. For the latter fumigation is required to ensure that no parassites are getting a piggy bach ride. Without this compliance, goods may be stopped and either returned or forced to a fumigation treatment prior to their release. Obviously this is expensive and causes further delay in transit.

    Transit time & Possible delays

    There are still some slight delays of the transport services to and from the United Kingdom due to the customs procedures and, in some instances, to the added COVID-19 checks. If all the necessary steps progress fluidly, however, our delivery will generally  reach you in just over a week from date of shipment.

    We are grateful for any information or suggestion you may offer of if you wish to share with us problems encountered.  We are committed to find solutions of mutual satisfaction that will reduce any inconvenience caused by the implementation of new procedures well above our heads.
